ClaraDx ("the Service") is a software-based clinical decision-support (CDS) and educational tool intended for use by licensed healthcare professionals — including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical students, residents, and other credentialed clinicians — as an aid to clinical reasoning.
The Service generates educational outputs such as differential diagnoses, structured clinical notes, suggested workups, drug-interaction information, and validated clinical scoring summaries based on the information provided by the user. These outputs are presented for clinician review and are intended to support — not replace — the user's independent clinical judgment.
2. Not Medical Advice
ClaraDx does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing produced by the Service constitutes a medical recommendation to any specific patient. Any reliance on information generated by ClaraDx is at the sole discretion and responsibility of the licensed clinician using the Service.

3. No Physician-Patient Relationship
Use of ClaraDx does not create a physician-patient relationship between the user, ClaraDx, or any party associated with the Service. ClaraDx is a software tool — it does not practice medicine, render clinical opinions on identified patients, or assume any clinical responsibility for outcomes.
4. Clinician Responsibility
The licensed clinician using ClaraDx is solely responsible for:
- The accuracy and completeness of clinical information entered into the Service
- Independent verification of any output generated by the Service
- Final clinical decisions, including diagnosis, workup, treatment, prescribing, and referral
- Compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, scope of practice, and institutional policies
- Patient communication, informed consent, and continuity of care
ClaraDx outputs are educational reference material. They are not orders, prescriptions, or directives.
5. Limitations of the Service
ClaraDx uses large-language-model technology and structured medical reference frameworks, including the Merck Manual Professional Edition framework. Despite reasonable efforts to produce accurate and clinically relevant output, the Service has known limitations:
- Outputs may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or content that is not appropriate for a specific patient or clinical context.
- The Service cannot examine a patient, observe physical findings, interpret raw imaging or laboratory data, or assess a patient's overall clinical trajectory.
- The Service does not have access to a patient's complete medical history, electronic health record, or longitudinal context unless explicitly provided in the input.
- Drug-interaction information, dosing references, and clinical scoring outputs are reference material — not authoritative orders. Clinicians must independently verify against an authoritative drug reference and current institutional formulary before prescribing.
- Validated clinical scores included in the Service (such as Wells, CURB-65, and others) are calculation aids only. The clinician remains responsible for correct application and interpretation.

ClaraDx is intended to operate as a clinical decision-support tool consistent with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's guidance on non-device clinical decision-support software. The Service displays information for review by clinicians and does not make autonomous treatment decisions. Healthcare institutions should consult their own legal and regulatory counsel regarding specific use cases, jurisdictional requirements, and institutional policies before integrating ClaraDx into clinical workflows.

ClaraDx is designed as a decision-support tool, not a medical-records system. Users are strongly advised not to enter personally identifiable patient information (PII) or protected health information (PHI) into the Service. Use de-identified clinical descriptors — such as age, sex, presenting findings, and clinical history — without names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, or other identifiers.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. ClaraDx, its operators, and its affiliates expressly disclaim all liability for any clinical outcome, decision, or harm arising from use of the Service.
